Volunteers add so much to the quality of many of our school programs! Many of our volunteers provide that extra pair of hands and listening ears to help the learning environment of our school and enrich our school environment in a wide variety of ways.
Volunteers are required to complete our Volunteer Forms as well as have a Criminal Record Check. We ask that volunteers sign-in at the office. This allows us to keep track of who is working and volunteering in our school on a day-to-day basis and allows the children to know that an adult they may not see at school every day is here to help them.
For overnight field trips you will also need: A Child Intervention Check. To request a Child Intervention Record Check, email cs.ircedmonton@gov.ab.ca. The intervention check may take several weeks to complete, so please apply early in order to receive the forms in time to attend the overnight field trip.
