Volunteering Information

Today, your children will be coming home with a letter with information about volunteering at the school. Many of our parents and guardians are looking to volunteer for a single school event or for the occasional field trip or school event during the school year. In many instances, they are the class as a whole, under faculty supervision, or may have a small group near the classroom or in a public location, and do not require extensive documentation, such as a Criminal Records Check or child intervention checks, as per our Division Protocols.

            Volunteering Information Letter

To facilitate the volunteering process, we have distributed a copy of the confidentiality agreement and declaration that students brought home for parents and guardians to sign and return to your child’s homeroom teacher at your earliest convenience. This way, if a volunteering opportunity arises during the year that interests them, parents and guardians can then proceed. If you have multiple children in our school, you only need to sign one form per parent/guardian, as these forms will be kept on file in the main office.

Should both parents and guardians wish to volunteer, you can click on the link below to access the form for an additional copy:

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 780-459-4478.

Yours in education,

Mr. Allan Menduk, Principal
