Choir takes place every Wednesday during lunch recess. The choir members are volunteers from grades 3-6 who want to sing. We have had approximately 20 students who are joining us on Wednesdays. The choir is open to accepting new students.
The choir started just prior to the Christmas Break. We worked on Christmas Songs for a few weeks. We are now working on perfecting our ability to sing our National Anthem both in English and French. We are also learning the American National Anthem. The reason for these patriotic songs is to prepare us for the possibility of singing the anthem for an Oil Kings game.
The choir members have been offering their input on which songs they would like to work on. We have been adding to our repertoire each week.
We will look into different places where we can perform as the year progresses.
